The prosecutor indicated that, on May 22, 2013, at about 6:30 am, the complainant was on her way to school when she observed that the accused person was heading towards her direction.

She did not anticipate any danger but rather continued walking. At a point the accused quickly crossed her path and demanded for her handbag. She made an attempt to resist but he pulled out a revolver and threatened to shoot her.

At this point, fearing for her life, she surrendered and gave the handbag to the accused. The accused after taking the bag gave several warning shots and took to his heels. She also raised an alarm and the inhabitants of the community pursued and arrested him. After investigations, he was charged with the offence and arraigned before court.

Shares rose nearly 3% on hopes that the company would be a takeover target for another larger corporation. SodaStream's price initially rose more than 30% on the report which was posted on an Israeli business website. The report also said Goldman Sachs was overseeing the talks. Nooyi says there was absolutely no truth to the story.

J.M. Smucker (SJM) was in a bit of a jam for the session. The stock dropped 4% despite reporting strong quarterly earnings.
