Farbman Group recently announced that the full service commercial real estate firm has partnered with Jackets For Jobs to launch Drive To Thrive, an effort to collect more than 1,000 gently used business suits, beginning Monday, June 17, and continuing through Friday, June 21. Jackets For Jobs is a Detroit-based non-profit organization that helps provide career skills training, employment etiquette and professional clothing to job seekers. The organization relies on clothing donations such as Drive To Thrive to ensure it has the inventory to appropriately dress its clients for work, many of whom leave its shop to go directly to an interview.welcome to Buy Discount Prada T-Shirts online store,Free shipping!
“We invite our business colleagues and neighbors — thousands of whom come through the doors of our properties every day — to join us in this effort,” said Andy Farbman, CEO of Farbman Group. “Together, we are helping to provide one of the resources needed so that individuals feel and look their best while seeking to re-enter the workforce and, ultimately, thrive. For those who are cleaning out their closets during the change of season, it’s a perfect time to consider donating to this award winning program.”
Clothing donations should meet these guidelines: All clothing must be clean, dry-cleaned, washed or ironed and on a hanger, ensuring it will arrive at Jackets For Jobs without wrinkles. Clothing must be in good condition, with no stains, moth holes, buttons missing, rips or tears, or broken zippers.
Clothing must be in current style and suitable for the workplace. Basic colors such as black, brown, navy and white are in great demand, but others are welcome. In addition to suits, jackets, shirts and dresses, accessories such as shoes, belts, jewelry, handbags and unopened cosmetics are also greatly appreciated. The organization has a special need for coats, umbrellas and plus-sized suits for women and big and tall suits for men.
Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowable by law. Tax receipts are provided by request at each buildings management office unless otherwise noted. Drop-off boxes are provided in the lobby of each building.

Ten insecure burglaries have involved a door being left open while one involved a window being left open since Saturday, May 25, leading officers to issue a warning for people to be more careful.
While the incidents have taken place across Hartlepool, the Throston and West Park areas have been particularly targeted.
Officers investigating the burglaries say the offences have predominantly taken place overnight and in the early hours of the morning, but two of the incidents have taken place in the afternoon, while residents were actually in the property.
Stolen items include wallets, purses, phones, laptops, car keys and handbags.Detective Inspector Alan Todd, from Hartlepool Police, said: “Within the last few weeks we have had an increase in the number of insecure burglaries taking place in Hartlepool.
“It is important that people help themselves by locking their doors and windows so that they do not become a victim of crime.
“In the recent warm weather, when people are in and out of their homes and gardens, it is important that people remember to secure their homes.“Not doing so provides the perfect opportunity for these crimes to take place.”Four men have been arrested in connection with the incidents and all have been bailed pending further enquiries.
